TRAINING

We as dog enthusiasts and breeders have worked with nearly every breed helping other clients with their dogs behaviours. We as responsible breeders know that training is detrimental in the younger weeks of life providing the foundation of good dog obedience. Our training programmes will vary depending on client’s requirements and age of the puppy.

ALL PUPPIES CAN LEAVE AT 8 WEEKS OLD to their forever loving homes but we do offer additional training programmes if customer is interested. Not mandatory.

Correct training with positive reinforcement will be given to each individual puppy from basic toilet training to sit-stay, down-stay, place, heel work, recall, crate and impulse control advancing into more elite work the older they become.

Here at Evolution Dobermans we believe that a balance between positive reinforcement food, affection, toys and negative reinforcement leash pressure/correction, no reward and linking a word to a bad behaviour is the best way to gain trust, respect and love from any breed.

When first teaching a puppy training we never name the position before the puppy can preform the position correctly and repeatedly therefore not demeaning the word.

Training will also include socialization, days out and photo shoots all helping in gaining that well balanced companion.

Once you take your new companion home at 8 WEEKS OLD, unless enrolled into one of our training programmes, it is now your responsibility to continue the training and guidance by yourself or we can personally assist you with this or point you in the right direction to a highly recommended trainer local to you.

Daily goals

  1. One to three 5-15mins obedience sessions per day, no more than five.

  2. Two to three structured play sessions a day.

  3. At least 10-15 mins daily exercise daily increasing with puppy’s age.

  4. Plenty of love/affection/socialization and boundaries per day.
